Pickups

Pickups are scattered across the map and respawn on a timer. Controlling pickup locations: especially health and weapons: is a key part of map control in both Team Deathmatch and Deathmatch.

Weapon Pickup

Weapon pickups let you grab a new weapon from the map, replacing or filling one of your two weapon slots.

• Walk over a weapon pickup to automatically pick it up into an empty slot
• If both slots are full, picking up a new weapon swaps it with your currently held weapon
• Higher-tier weapons appear in fixed locations: learn the spawn spots

Health

Health pickups restore a portion of your HP. Staying topped off between fights is critical in a fast-paced map like BAYC Bathroom.

• Prioritize health pickups immediately after winning a fight before the next engagement
• Health pickups respawn on a timer: if you see a spot where one normally sits and it's gone, an enemy was recently there
• Denying health pickups from low-HP enemies can force them into desperate plays

Ammo

Ammo pickups refill your current weapon's ammunition. Running dry in a fight is a death sentence.

• Don't wait until you're empty: grab ammo whenever it's available and safe to do so
• Ammo pickups are tied to weapon type, so switching weapons changes which pickups are useful to you
• In Team Deathmatch, leave ammo for teammates who need it more if your clip is full
