Glacia Research Station
Control Point map set in an arctic research station built around ancient crystal formations.

Glacia Research Station is an arctic complex sprawling across ancient crystal formations and an industrial mining operation, all feeding into a mysterious facility harnessing the crystals' energy. The map mixes open snowy exteriors with tight industrial interiors and winding crystal caves, creating varied combat spaces for teams fighting over control points.

Game Mode: Control Point
Glacia plays Control Point, a team-based objective mode. Fight to capture and hold specific zones on the map while defending the ones you already own.
Scoring
When your team controls a zone, you gain points over time. The more zones you hold, the faster you score. The first team to reach the points threshold wins.
Respawning
After getting eliminated, you respawn back at your team's home base.
Tips
- Look for backdoors and alternate routes into defended points. Approaching from an unexpected angle can break a lockdown
- Explore the map for rare weapon spawns that could give you an edge in a contested fight
- Kills alone don't win games. Stay focused on capturing and holding objectives
Traversal
Glide
Glacia introduces a new gliding mechanic. Look for opportunities to gain height, then glide across the map to cover ground quickly. Drop in on enemies from above, but watch out since you're exposed while airborne and can be shot down.
Laser Rifle

The Laser Rifle is a new weapon exclusive to Glacia, channeling the crystal energy found throughout the station. It charges up before releasing a devastating burst of shots that will stop anyone in their tracks.
- The charge-up takes a moment, so start charging before you round a corner or peek a sightline
- The burst deals heavy damage in a short window, making it strong for holding chokepoints
- Look around the map to find one at weapon spawn locations
Map Areas
Crystal Caves

Winding underground passages lined with glowing crystal formations. Tight quarters with limited sightlines make these corridors dangerous for both attackers and defenders.
Mining Operation

The industrial heart of the station, packed with crates, vehicles, and heavy machinery. Plenty of cover but also plenty of angles to get flanked from.
Research Facility

The main building where the crystal energy is being processed. Multi-level interiors with catwalks and open floor space create vertical engagements.
Exterior Grounds

The snow-covered surface surrounding the station, dotted with rock formations, solar arrays, and crystal outcrops. Open sightlines reward accurate shooters, but the glide mechanic lets aggressive players close distance fast.
